It doesn't seem so long ago we had an incredibly amazing day with a record yield for the Guusje Nederhorst Foundation. Meanwhile, we had a very severe winter and everyone is pretty fed up with this bleak weather. Fortunately, we are going in the right direction for better weather! We have been busy again for months with the preparations and everything is progessing well. It was a bit of a strange start. Spinning on the Beach 2010 gets an new look. First, we had a luxury problem, which charity should we choose this year? After several conversations with various foundations, the decision became even more difficult. Finally, we were able to make an unanimous choice! Foundation "Opkikker" is our new charity. Chronically ill children with their families can enjoy one special day and try to forget all their misery. It may sound strange but it suits Spinning ® On the Beach 2010. Opkikker in Dutch means a boost and we needed a little boost ourselves. Due to time constraints Michiel, our webhost, advised he was unable to continue... but through other means the end result is a whole new website.
New location on the beach of Zandvoort
We also have after much deliberation, decided to change location! The new location is Club Nautique (23). It's a very strange experience. All beach tents are back in place and are already fully in the running. Club Nautique however, is still building their new year-round beach club. But it will be really beautiful!
